I am a writer of fiction, non-fiction, essays, and poetry currently residing in Chicago, IL. I hold a BA in Fiction Writing from Columbia College Chicago (and hope to eventually hold an MFA), but oftentimes dabble in other fine-art related media such as filmmaking and photography. I'm a Mexican-born immigrant that was raised on a diet of fairy tales, Tim Burton genius, French and English novels of the 1800s, and a glorious dosage of Edgar Allan Poe and Ray Bradbury. This means I love anything dark, gothic, and melancholic. Oh, and I'm an anglophile.
