Bio/Mission
Currently temping, probably not alone in our present economic unpleasantness. I have two novel projects going. One in revisions; the second still in production. My mission: to write something that'll knock your socks off.
Inspirations
To get published ... or at least to get read. I love reading the odd, the unclassifiable, the disreputable, and the visionary. William S. Burroughs, Samuel Beckett, Tony Kushner, and Evelyn Waugh really get my juices flowing. I'm for writing something with impeccable quality, but I refuse to follow what some hack says is "commercial-friendly" fiction. Give me purple prose over beige "invisible writing."
