Liz Latty
Bio/Mission
Liz Latty is an Oakland-based writer, educator, musician and activist. Originally from the Detroit area, she has wandered extensively and now resides in a place called home or the inside of her own chest cavity. You can find her work in The F-Word Zine, The Wayne Literary Review, and Radical Detroit: A Journal of Political and Cultural Resistance. She was also featured in the Seal Press anthology, We Don’t Need Another Wave: Dispatches from the Next Generation of Feminists. Liz holds a BA in English and Women’s Studies from Wayne State University in Detroit, has starred in numerous queer short films, and teaches creative writing to youth. She is currently pursuing her MFA at Goddard College where she is writing a book of prose investigating her adoption and reunion.
