Bio/Mission
During the early 1990s, Mark Pritchard was founder and co-editor (with Cris Gutierrez) of the seminal sex-and-politics zine Frighten the Horses. Two collections of his sex stories, "Too Beautiful and Other Stories" and "How I Adore You," were published by Cleis Press in 2001. Since then he has been working on novels. He has also been a blogger on TheRumpus, San Francisco Metblogs, and his personal website, www.toobeautiful.org.
Inspirations
Kathy Acker, Richard Brautigan, Larry McMurtry's novels set in modern Texas, Roberto Bolaño, Patricia Highsmith, Henry Miller, Jane DeLynn, Georges Simenon's _roman durs,_ Graham Greene.
