Renato Corpaci
Bio/Mission
I was born in Milan, Italy. Raised inside the corporate village of an important Italian oil company, I moved on studying in Rome and Naples. My working interests spanned in the fields of Advertising, Corporate Communications, eLearning and Business Publishing for most of my professional life, putting me in contact with major Companies, both in Europe and in the United States. I am triggered by everything concerning Communication and Language. From 1999 to 2008 I managed a literary website I co-founded. The essays I published during this time frame are stacked in a pile of approximately 200 sheets awaiting some kind of elaboration. I have written “La locuzione di Anassimandro” (“Anaximander's Saying”, a novel, somehow philosophical) “Articoli deperibili” (Perishable Items”, a black inquiry on the frailty of being, now seeking publication). I'm currently engaged into writting a third novel about the asymmetricity of human relations (love, friendship, social coexistence).
Inspirations
I like Richard Rorty and Harold Bloom's idea of a new literary colture. As a reader, my aim is to read all the authors that Bloom lists in “The Western Canon” (before I'm dead)
