Sheila Heti
Bio/Mission
I am the author of these books of fiction: The Middle Stories (McSweeney's), Ticknor (FSG), and How Should a Person Be? (published already in Canada by Anansi and forthcoming in the US from Holt in summer 2012). This summer, I am releasing The Chairs Are Where the People Go (Faber) written with my friend, Misha Glouberman, and a children's book from McSweeney's titled We Need a Horse. I am interviews editor at The Believer. I recently wrote a column about theatre for Maisonneuve, a magazine out of Montreal, and contribute sometimes to Bookforum, n+1, The New York Times, Geist, and other places.
