Very early in the morning, very late at night, or during that obnoxious part of the afternoon where it isn't technically night, but you have to quit everything to start preparing dinner and getting the kid ready for the night routine.
Bio/Mission
I am a parent, partner, mixed media artist, writer, photographer, aspiring-Celebrant and birthworker, editor (associate editor at LambdaLiterary.org; blog editor at Specter Magazine), and unemployed welfare mother. Hell of a lot to have no "earned income", huh? I am a Southerner by way of birth, raising, and heritage; a refugee and Pacific Northwest transplant by way of redneck trans/homophobic asshattery. I blog about homelessness, dreams, trauma, killer bacon cheese dogs, abortion, and other light-hearted topics at www.ttjax.com.

Seals. Fog. Ricci Ducornet, Robert Coover, Anna Joy Springer, Stephen Beachy, Irvine Welsh, Edgar Allen Poe, Tennessee Williams. Ravens, glitter, doll parts, toilets. Five am in the desert in June. Drag- the really outlandish kind. People dressed as animals or objects. Angels. The Virgin Mary. Light and water. Smooth metal cups. Rocks: the shadowed moist places beneath them, the moss consuming their surface, the fossils secreted inside, the immense story of pressure, struggle, death and rupture that formed and scattered them.
