Manuscript and Chapter Management
Our goal is to have no 'how to' page(s) like this - it'll just be self evident. It may take us a little time to get there, but your feedback will help us get there more expeditiously.
In the meantime, here's a few tips for working with your manuscripts.
Sadly we don't support online editing yet. It will be a great day (and not too far in the future) when I dont have to make this disclaimer.
If you want to add another chapter to an existing manuscript, click on the "outline tab" as seen on the chapter page.
Then, from the dropdown list, you can select the manuscript to which you want to add the chapter, then click the "update book outline" button on the bottom.. There's other stuff on this form, but don't make any other chages, please. Your chapter could become unaviable to you to view. If this somehow does happen, let Richard or I know - we should be able to fix it for you.
After you add your chapter, you may want to reorder, or change the titles. Click on "reorder this book" tab. This is a useful page for managing your manuscripts. You can redoder chapters via driag an drop, change the chapter titles and jump to the chapters. Resist the temptation to use EDIT...
