Moving forward , the Red Lemonade team will set up more virtual stands to share bubbliness and fizziness on more sites to enhance our virtual presence. Altars of literary communication to connect and engage with the more reader-writer(s) on the web. There is a reading and an after party at AWP and there are more activities planned to interact with members in public spaces, as well as your secret alternative dreams. More bubbles, circles, groups and engagements to share soon, tiny bubbles to add a little more tanginess and bite to our unique brand of alternative fiction.

Interns wanted : come help make the fizz more Fizzier. And/or volunteer for unique tasks and border defense in the exciting, futuristic, unexplored worlds of alternative publishing !
Note: We romance the neurons from and in cyberspace, baby. We cross international boundaries and have signed no extradition treaty.
(This is a work at home opportunity. Please send us a drawing of a mouse in a silly hat, defender.)
The Red Lemonade internship will involve both digital and traditional aspects of the publishing industry. The online reading/writing community site offers the everyone opportunity to upload their work for workshopping, editorial review and commenting. Red Lemonade interns will engage in this online process, assisting with basic features of the site, explore and discover like-minded authors and books and work with our social media promotion. As we engage with the future and explore alternatives, internships will be guided by the personal goals, skillset and educational requirements of their scholastic program. Self-learners are encouraged to volunteer and share the space-time adventures in conjunction with the internship program as well.
Here are some basic guidelines for the type of activities, but feel free to outline your particular needs/dreams/desires/weltanschuung. Essentially, in the role of assisting the editorial staff, the intern will make scheduled reports of manuscripts that are attracting responses and that also fit within the editorial vision and mission statement of Red Lemonade. A secondary role of the intern will be assisting in published works outside of the community, identifying publications and authors which can be associated with or relate to the stated purpose of bringing forth alternative literature. This can involve reading works online or published chapbooks, zines, brain maps, short stories, and novels. In some ways, acting as a book agent seeking similar type authors, and also assisting in adding reading suggestions to the site. This is a flexible, even wobbly, opportunity with several options available, as long as the key focus is helping to promote, encourage and help distinguish the Red Lemonade community and their special niche of literature defined as 'alternative'. Interns will be encouraged to read current published works by the press and engage principals in support of their alternative mission statement, by any means necessary. Heavy machinery may be involved to reach the higher limbs.
Please contact Brian who can be found at Red Lemona.de with your intership request, spacesuit size, volunteer forms, mana requirements, or questions.
