A story about a boy who finds a little robot hidden (or hiding?) in a forgotten hardware closet of his office building.
He sneaks it little treats of spare parts, cares for it, even begins to fall in love with it.
The robot builds itself up, becomes more advanced, becomes a "she."
Then one day people come looking for her. People who want to take her away, who want to use her. People who are afraid of her, and what she could mean.
