This is a piece I wrote for the Machine of Death 2nd Anthology. It didn't make the cut. I tried to go for a George Saunders vibe: sort of a quirky post-apocalypse, with some social commentary. Anyway, I had a lot of fun writing the piece and think it turned out pretty well. Thanks.
