The Saddest Place on Earth
A collection of poems featuring God, Skinheads, and Thin Blue Snakes
Below is an excerpt from my poetry collection THE SADDEST PLACE ON EARTH which will be published this year (2012) by DC Books. Poems from this collection have been published in Descant, The Windor Review, Feathertale, Rattle Poetry, Nothing, No one. Nowhere, The Puritan, La Petite Zine, Cell Stories, Wordsalad, nthposition, This Magazine, Geist, Subterrain, Pilot Pocket Books, Carousel, Lies with Occasional Truth. Seven of these poems were made into a short experimental videos which screened nationally and internationally at festivals such as the Chicago Underground Film Festival and the European Media Arts Festival. "Skinheads" was adapted into a short film that was produced in 2006 by the Canadian Film Centre. Cover art by David Poolman
