SCAD, Thanks. I really like the idea of a collection as a tribute to Jack. That sounds exciting to me. I am definitely adding the this idea to the pot for a concentrated stew. Much appreciate the comment.

I don't know if the poem refers to a car or smooth player. Either way, the imagery and descriptions kept the poem active and vivid. Whoever is the subject is such a cool person to hang out with, I suppose. If you want to write more poems for a chapbook, I strongly suggest using Jack as the main theme. I could see the collection as a set of tributes to Jack. You could also expand on what Jack means to you, if you're planning on making a chapbook in the future. - Timotheus
